In March 2004, the Helen Flavel Foundation (HFF) was registered
in Adelaide, Australia. Since that date the foundation has been able to
offer 600 sponsorships through their worldwide sponsorship program.
These sponsorships go to the poorest of the poor students, who without
this support, could not go to school. The Sukma Helen Flavel Learning
Centre is a key part of the HFF, PSHFF and the DO Foundations. This
Centre was built to give the students from the needy families the
opportunity to learn and hopefully break the poverty cycle. The Centre
offers after-hours classes free of charge to these students. |
