Whenever you need a quick check or a second opinion, such as before logging into your favorite website, when using your bank account or buying something online, use BitDefender QuickScan, directly from your browser. QuickScan takes full advantage of the "in-the-cloud" antivirus scanning service and is capable in detecting active malware in less than a minute, taking just a fraction of the system resources needed by a regular virus scan.

What if Education for the World earned a donation every time you searched the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made online went to support our cause? Well, now it can! GoodSearch.com is a new Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!

Another option is GoodShop.com--a new online shopping mall which donates up to 37% of each purchase to your favorite cause! Hundreds of great stores including Amazon, Target, Gap, Best Buy, eBay, Macy's and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you’ll be supporting your favorite cause.

The Yayasan Kemanusiaan Ibu Pertiwi (YKIP) organization or the Humanitarian Foundation for Mother Earth was started as a response to the Bali bombings in 2002. YKIP's founders were business people, doctors, officials and volunteers who assisted during the 2002 bomb crisis. It soon became evident that in order to accommodate the tons of medical supplies and monetary donations from well-wishers around the world, a transparent and responsible organization needed to be established. YKIP received endorsements from the Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, the diplomatic community in Bali, and the Governor of Bali.
The founders set up and helped to organize the Bali Recovery Group which coordinated the work of the NGOs in the first six confusing months after the blast. All of YKIP's projects in 2002 and 2003 were related to the direct victims of the blast. Based on the success of the initial projects in 2003, YKIP has turned its focus to Health and Education issues--those projects that can improve the lives of the poor who live on Bali. YKIP's role is to raise money, within a trustworthy and transparent system, for targeted projects on Bali and provide easy access to institutions and individuals. GoodShop: You Shop...We Give!
Another travel donation option is to book through the GoodShop website. In 2007, GoodSearch was expanded to include GoodShop, an online shopping mall of world-class merchants dedicated to helping raise funds for worthy causes. Each purchase made via the GoodShop mall results in a donation (on average, approximately 3% of the sale) to the charity you designate. Note that you must designated the charity (our ID is: 907816) before clicking any of the GoodShop travel links, which can take you to sites like Expedia.com, Orbitz.com and Hotwire.com among others. As a bonus, the GoodShop site also provides coupons, discounts and other special deals. Therefore, in addition to providing us with a donation at no cost to you, you can also save money!   FreeRice.com hosts a vocabulary game in which for each word you get right, FreeRice donates twenty grains of rice through the UN World Food Program. FreeRice has two goals:
 1. Provide English vocabulary to everyone for free.
 2. Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.
Improving your vocabulary can improve your life. It is a great investment in yourself. Perhaps even greater is the investment your donated rice makes in hungry human beings, enabling them to function and be productive. Somewhere in the world, a person is eating rice that you can help provide. This is made possible by the generosity of the sponsors who advertise on the site.
